Our pneumatically operated Rising Security Screen is an alternative to glazed security screens. It allows a more open, friendlier atmosphere as there is no physical barrier between staff and their customers. Under normal circumstances, direct contact between staff and their customers is possible, making conversation and the passing to and from of documents easier and more pleasant.
Openness and security appear to be a contradiction in terms. However, the C3S Rising Security Screen can be activated by staff using a range of discrete activation devices in the event of an attack. Activation causes an opaque ballistic resistant screen to rise into place in a fraction of a second, providing immediate protection to staff as well as cutting visual and audible contact between staff and attacker.
The element of surprise caused by the sudden appearance of the Rising Screen makes the attacker leave the branch within seconds of the screen being activated.
